Shanna Willner, MA, LPCC, PMP – licensed in CA and Texas.  I am a Mental Health provider with a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling. In my work, I integrate psychotherapy, biopsychology, behavioral change, and holistic practice to support my clients in living a better life. 

 

I work with clients on issues of complicated trauma, anxiety, personality disorder, chronic pain, medical trauma, abuse, and bio-psychological issues including insomnia, migraine and headache, and fibromyalgia.  I also work with clients focused on life transition, transformation, and habit change. 

 

I bring compassion, curiosity, and acceptance to my work, and combine creativity with information and evidence-based tools.  I am committed to helping clients to clear patterns that have been obstacles to life satisfaction and self-defined progress.  

 

I received a Masters in Counseling from St. Edwards University in Austin, TX, and a B.A. in Psychology from Barnard College at Columbia University.  I am EMDR trained (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I am an intermediate level practitioner in Somatic Experiencing.  I am a licensed Project Management Professional, a certified Breathworker, and a certified Meditation teacher.  I am committed to ongoing learning, and I practice what I learn in my own life and in our work together.  

 

I work with people in person in Los Angeles, CA, and via telehealth with people in Texas and California.
